Starter kit comes with 6" plastic filter/strainer and a box of 100 sock filters. You will need to use a new sock for each milking. Buying the starter kit saves you 10% over buying filter/strainer and replacement filter socks separately. Replacement sock filters, the filter/strainer, and replacement top are also sold separately.
